Common Questions

What's the difference between FP1, FP2, and FP3?
FP1 is a permanently fixed prosthesis — the closest to natural teeth. FP2 is fixed but removable by your dentist for maintenance. FP3 is an implant-supported overdenture you can remove yourself for cleaning.
How many implants do I need for full-arch?
Typically 4-6 implants per arch, depending on bone quality and the prosthetic type. Dr. Weisenberg will determine the optimal number during your consultation.
Can I get temporary teeth the same day?
In many cases, yes. We often place immediate temporary prosthetics on surgery day so you never leave without teeth.
How long does the full process take?
From initial consultation to final prosthetic delivery, plan for approximately 6-9 months. You'll have functional temporary teeth throughout the healing period.
