Common Questions

What's the difference between FP1 and FP2?
FP1 is permanently fixed (cemented). FP2 is screw-retained — fixed for daily life but removable by your dentist for maintenance. FP2 also includes gum-colored material to replace lost tissue.
How often does the FP2 need to be removed?
Typically once or twice per year for professional cleaning and inspection. It stays firmly in place between visits.
Is FP2 less durable than FP1?
Not necessarily. FP2 uses high-quality materials and the serviceable design can actually extend its lifespan since components can be individually replaced.
